Born in Sydney and raised in Brisbane, Australia, Miranda Kerr kick-started her modeling career in her early teens. Spurred on by the encouragement of her family and friends, Miranda fortuitously decided to enter the Dolly/Impulse Modeling Competition in 1997 when she was just 13 years old. She shocked everyone, including herself, when she won the competition, but she was completely surprised by the backlash that immediately followed her appearance in the Australian teen magazine Dolly.

We hate the expression “more than just a pretty face,” but there’s a poster girl for it, it would have to be Angelina Jolie. Jolie managed to put an Oscar up on her mantle when she won Best Supporting Actress for Girl, Interrupted in 2000, which is more than most other actresses have achieved.
Unfortunately, Angelina Jolie’s highly publicized antics attracted more attention than her movie roles for many years. She seemed to be more famous for having kissed her brother at the Academy Awards than for having won one. And the fact that she and Billy Bob Thornton carried around each other’s blood and admitted to having wild sex every chance they had made them demigods to tabloid writers worldwide. Then, after filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt, when he was still Mr. & Mrs. Pitt with Jennifer Aniston, she fell in love. Apparently he did too.
Controversy continued to follow Angelina Jolie in 2005, when she was accused of breaking up Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s marriage. However, now that the dust has settled, the world has finally begun to see Angelina’s positive side, including all the selfless humanitarian work she does around the world, not to mention the three children she adopted from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
Angelina took oldest daughter zahara back to her native Ethiopia. “(It was) the first time Zahara had been back home since her adoption. The trip was about keeping up that culture for her.”
Angelina and Brad are currently fighting their ex body guard as he has plans to write a tell all book. The Jolie-Pitts say that there was a confidentiality agreement and writing the book violates that.
Angelina may be an inspiration for the octo-mother / Nadya Suleman as she resembles her and it is speculated that she has a fixation with Angelina’s beauty and love for children.
Angelina and Brad are both nominated for an oscar for their roles in “The Changeling” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”.
Angelina gave birth to a baby boy and a baby girl on July 12 2008 Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline by C- section. Congratualtions!!

Maddox had his birthday party recently! Happy Birthday! It was a military themed birthday bash, with Maddox wearing army fatigues, Brad Pitt wore an army helmet, and Angie wearing camouflaged face paint!
Angie was always in search of a father figure for her children, that father figure, just so happend to turn out to be brad!
Brad and Angelina plan to adopt 4, yes 4 more children by 2010! Its going to be a busy life at the Jolie-Pitt home! Anjelina has also recently up-ed that number to even 13 or 14 in and interview with John Stewart. She says she and Brad are up for the challenge of 13 – 14 kids!!!
